Thorne's Multi-Vitamin Elite is NSF Certified for Sport®. It provides individuals who have high-performance nutritional regimens with essential nutrients in two complementary formulations.* The A.M. formula promotes energy production during the daytime, while the P.M. formula enhances rest and recovery at night.* Multi-Vitamin Elite contains chelated minerals that exhibit optimum absorption, vitamin K2 that supports calcium metabolism, and active, tissue-ready forms of vitamins B2, B6, B12, and folate.* It also contains curcumin phytosome, to help maintain the body's normal inflammatory response in joints, muscles, and the gastrointestinal tract. Green tea phytosome provides antioxidant and metabolic benefits.* The P.M. formula contains a proprietary blend of plant extracts that have been shown to curb late-night cravings, help balance DHEA: cortisol ratios, and support restful sleep.*

INTERACTIONS/CONTRAINDICATIONS

Because vitamin K interferes with the effect of anticoagulant drugs (like Coumadin), the concurrent use of these agents should be avoided.5-methyltetrahydrofolate supplementation is not recommended concurrently with methotrexate cancer therapy because they can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, this folate source has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate.
